These packages are for one week including airport transfers, accommodation, thermal clothing for the whole stay and a selection of activities. Hotel packages are with full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Winter week package 2 (accommodation in Rukariutta apartments) includes only meals during the activities.
All safaris start and end from Rukapalvelu Safarihouse (Rukakyläntie 13, Rukatunturi) and include guiding, equipment and liability insurance unless mentioned otherwise. Personal travel insurance is recommended. Tailored Adventures reserves the right to change the duration or routing of all its excursions and prices if necessary. In case of snowmobile accidents, a self-liability payment of 1000€/accident is charged. This payment must be made on the spot and cannot be invoiced afterwards.
Everyone snowmobiling must have a valid driver’s license with them. Driving under the influence of alcohol is forbidden. Personnel has the right to take the breathalyzer test before snowmobiling if needed. The minimum height for snowmobile safaris is 140cm. Person sitting behind the driver needs to get his feet firmly to snowmobile footboard. At river floating minimum height of 150 cm required for safety reasons.
Extra activities can be booked latest on previous day at 16:00. Booking can be made by email safarihouse@davas.site or phone +358 8 860 8600. We recommend to book the program well ahead in advance so we can guarantee that there is places left.
