Auroras or Revontulet in finnish language are natures phenomenon that makes your imagination to run even we nowadays know by science how they are generated.
They are difficult to forecast but luckily we can affect the settings where to observe them. We have even our own Northern Lights basecamp called Datza.
Located on a top of big hill away from any city lights. Windows pointing to northern and eastern sky. Ideal place to monitor auroras. It can be reached by car or snowmobile or even huskies. From the camp visitors can hike to arctic hill with a view to vast wilderness. This wilderness camp has only candle light and its heated by fire places. Visitors can also stay over night at the camp in two log cabins. There is also traditional finnish sauna available on request.
